Best coffee in the city

Great coffee, mediocre service. There were two of us, a coffee did not arrive. Lack of knowledge about the in-house products on the part of the employees. A second visit probably won't come, it's a shame about the coffee.

Unfortunately only cards are accepted, the drinks were only slightly warm and very expensive.

Cash payments are no longer possible. The end of privacy started here.

Good coffee, very nice staff, a super nice location. Corona rules are observed very well and in an exemplary manner. It's fun to come back. The avocado bagel is a dream.

I personally don't like coffee with high acidity, which is common in Germany, so I visit this place when I miss the savory and steamy coffee I drink in Korea.

A coffee for hipster vegans !! Was there for a coffee with my girlfriend about a month ago. First I was greeted in the most unfriendly way at the cash register! apparently the staff is more busy taking care of your private calls. In any case, the coffee wasn't bad in itself, but we ordered the coffee to go because the whole place was just overcrowded with hipsters.

Large selection of coffee specialties. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can work very well with the laptop in the café. The decor is very nice. The staff very friendly

I was here about 2 weeks ago. The atmosphere and style in the café are very nice. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes in line. Once inside, it was terribly loud and the tables are mostly occupied by students or students who work on the laptop. This means that there is no empty space. The iced latte I drank was very small and the vegan muffin was delicious.

Kind staff great coffee

Many things seem to be important here. Unfortunately, the customers come last. I was in the queue with two people in front of me. I still let a guest who had got up from the table to pay. It took me over 15 minutes to prepare for the order place. Once there, I was unfortunately not worthy of a look or a greeting. Instead, the tablet was pressed for another 1-2 minutes. Then my back was turned to talk to the two colleagues at the coffee machine. At this point my visit was over. Unfortunately I cannot rate the coffee.

Latte and cappuccino’s was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Nice service too.

Very large variety of coffees! Almost ideal for freelancers or similar due to the pleasant working atmosphere, unfortunately sometimes a bit loud! But with free wifi!

This used to be my favourite cafe. Perfect for working. Now they introduced a new internet system so now you are only allowed using internet for one hour. So bad!!!

Love their Coffee

I really like this place! The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed. You can sit down and read a bit, use your computer or just enjoy the great coffee and pastries served here. You can also buy coffee and other products (could make great souvenirs!). The staff was very friendly. Next time I visit Hamburg I will return to this place!

Barista- and coffee arts at its finest. Different roasts to choose from and also all sorts of milk. Also small snacks and sweets available, even beers I'm the afternoon. Contemporary red brick wall atmosphere, nice to chill and read as well as getting in deep work modus with your computer

Great filter coffee!! I have tried the fruiti coffee and the chocolate one. Both of them delicious but I have preferred the fruiti one. The avocado toast was also delicious. I will be back for sure

Best Coffee Place in Hamburg from my point of view! Doesn’t matter if you want to chill and have a chat or are looking for an environment to be productive/ creative - Public is the place! The special thing about this café is the very unique and industrial appearance of the building. Also, great location to sit outside.

Coffee is very good. Food is fresh with yummy, but still mostly healthy, options (think porridge with fresh fruit or bread with tomato, spinach, avocado). You can lounge in the central court yard on sunny days, although the area is shared with a neighboring restaurant so is not exactly private. The interior is industrial chiq with plenty of laptop using students sipping their cup of coffee around.

Super chill atmosphere and the coffee is amazing. They do a good V60 and all sorts of other coffee.

Great bar to study or just a coffee. The only flaw for students / workers is the music in the background

I like to drink Americano (espresso extended with hot water) - and in PCR there are some of the best in Hamburg. The cappuccino with soymilk is also very good, as is the filter coffee. Beans can be bought directly (whole or ground). Extremely delicious: the avocado casserole, vegan or vegetarian, both delicious! Was until recently my home cafe. Only recently there are more tables in the room, so NO more people are there and it is often unbearably loud for me (the loft-like room echoes pretty much). And: very good coffee needs time. And with more and more guests waiting for coffee and breakfast porridge on the weekend of 30-45min is not enough. It does not have to be that way, it works better. A pity.

Very relaxing atmosphere. OK coffee. No egg or meat for sandwiches. Verrry long queues.

Lovely place but gets very crowded and becomes very loud with kids as their cappuccino mummys are too busy on there handys.

Best coffee in town

Yummy small meals (hot and cold). Can't judge the coffee. Enough space to come along with a pram. Changing table available in the restroom.

Hospitality was on point. Staff has knowledge of their products, especially their coffees. Was recommended a pour over and was delightful.

Excellent espresso, especially the smooth Black Beauty variety. First-rate service. A cool interior and nice beach chairs in a charming cobblestone yard, away from traffic. The best coffee shop in a neighborhood with strong competition.
